I pursue what interests me, do the hard work to become good at it, and keep expanding what I’m capable of.
I'm a multidisciplinary generalist with experience in IT operations, automation, and security and privacy. My current work includes AI-assisted development and creative projects.
I develop depth across disciplines and keep room to explore beyond them. Difficult, overlooked problems give me a reason to keep learning.
1Depth and breadth
I've administered systems across client environments, automated repeatable changes, and worked through security and privacy problems with small practices. Those responsibilities have required technical depth, patient troubleshooting, and explanations other people can use.
I'm now applying that experience to software and creative work while developing new skills. AI implementation is one part of that work. I direct and verify agent-assisted development, with particular attention to permissions, information boundaries, and whether a result does what it was supposed to do.
My interests extend beyond the fields where I already have experience. Games, film, physical spaces, cars, and the way things are made all have a place here.
2In progress
- An operations platform
- Architecting, directing, and verifying agent-assisted implementation. Current work includes approval boundaries, repeatable procedures, and validation of what has actually been built.
- An artist website
- Developing a website as part of my ongoing creative and technical work. The artist's identity and unpublished material remain private.
- A creative business
- Building the business alongside its projects, including the systems and documentation needed to run it.

5Interests
- Paper notebooks
- Moleskine for years, and lately I've been trying to find something that beats it. Numbered pages, lay-flat binding, A4 or bigger. It's a weirdly specific hunt and I'm enjoying it.
- Games, both kinds
- Stardew Valley and Arc Raiders on a screen. Apocalypse World around a table. The tabletop stuff scratches a different itch, closer to writing than to playing.
- How games are built
- Game Maker's Toolkit, solo-dev logs, anything where somebody explains why a mechanic works instead of just showing it.
- Film
- A24 puts out most of what I like. Shutter Island is the one I keep going back to.
- Privacy and the surveillance surface
- Adjacent to the job, but I'd care anyway. What gets collected, who ends up holding it, and how little of that most people ever agreed to.
- Workshops and desks
- I have a long-running plan for a build with more drawers than anyone needs. Not started. Fully designed in my head.
- Plants with a shape to them
- Silhouette over flowers. I want something architectural in the corner of a room, not a bouquet.
- Cooking, mostly meal prep
- Batch it Sunday, eat well all week. Same instinct as the automation stuff, honestly.
- Cars and real estate
- Two long-running interests I read about far more than I currently act on.
